Reservations are strongly recommended for weekends and holidays. We normally
stop renting at 1 pm, depending on the weather and river flows.
Raft rentals are available at this location every day of the week starting April 16th.
Tubes, Kayaks, and Paddleboards will be available at this location after Memorial Day for weekday rentals only. Weekend rentals for tubes and kayaks are available at our Sailor Bar location.
Hours of Operation: Rentals are available from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. if conditions allow. We close at sundown. Check times, weather, and river conditions before your visit.
*County Launch Fee: this is required by Sacramento County. $3.00 Launch Fee for each watercraft.
GROUP RATE: 10% OFF equipment when you rent 5 or more watercraft (rafts, kayaks, paddleboards, or tubes) on one contract

DAMAGE WAIVER: $5 per watercraft rented and covers up to $100 of damage done to the equipment. It does not cover loss, theft, abuse, or destruction of any equipment. If added, you must purchase a Damage Waiver for all of the watercraft in your cart.
TRIP INSURANCE: $10 (Per Contract) for a money-back guarantee if you need to cancel your trip for any reason.
PHOTOS: $10 in advance for each watercraft or $20 after your trip. Please select the number of watercraft you would like photographed in the cart.
DELIVERY FEE: $30 per watercraft. Pick up your watercraft by the water to skip carrying it on your 10-minute walk from our parking lot.

PARKING: We offer plenty of on-site parking for rental customers only. Parking at the Sunrise location is $10 on weekends and holidays. We recommend that you do not leave valuables in your car. American River Raft Rentals is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles.
RETURN SHUTTLE SERVICE: $10 (Per Person) Shuttle ticket for our bus – pets allowed but discouraged. We highly suggest that you purchase shuttle service tickets. You cannot walk back from the pull-out location at the end of your trip. Some customers schedule rideshares if they do not want to purchase shuttle service tickets.
